I know it’s been a long time, but it seems that Pruitt and company aren’t afraid to recruit kids who can play or do play both sides of the ball and tell them “we’ll figure this out when you get here!”
I think this is something that Fulmer and company used to do when he was at Tennessee with guys like Al Wilson and Raynoch Thompson and even Eric Westmorland.
Do you see this as a plus and is it Tennessee wanting to be more versatile, speedy, and physical on defense? It seems over the past several years they have recruited kids who already knew where they were playing and what side of the ball they “wanted” to be on vs where they needed to be?
Thoughts?
