Greetings from the Hoover Met, where No. 1 Tennessee is waiting on Texas A&M/Alabama to conclude so that it can face 4-seed LSU in the third round of the SEC Tournament.

I have never seen the Hoover Met as packed as it is tonight. All parking lots are completely full, including the overflow parking. There's barely any room to walk on the concourse. Barely anywhere to sit in the general admission.

First pitch: TBD p.m. ET on the SEC Network (I'd say between 10:30 and 11:00 ET)

Tennessee's (50-7) starting lineup:

1) Seth Stephenson, LF
2) Luc Lipcius, 1B
3) Jordan Beck, RF
4) Drew Gilbert, CF
5) Trey Lipscomb, 3B
6) Jorel Ortega, 2B
7) Evan Russell, C
8) Blake Burke, DH
9) Cortland Lawson, SS

Tennessee's starting pitch: Sophomore RHP Chase Dollander (8-0, 2.30 ERA, .70 WHIP) starts for the Vols. It's his 12th start and 14th appearance. 35 H, 17 R, 16 ER, 9 BB, 90 K in 62.2 IP — .158 opponent batting average.

LSU's (38-18) starting lineup:

1) Dylan Crews, CF
2) Josh Pearson, LF
3) Jordan Thompson, SS
4) Tre' Morgan, 1B
5) Tyler McManus, C
6) Brayden Jobert, RF
7) Gavin Dugas, DH
8) Collier Cranford, 3B
9) Drew Bianco, 2B

LSU's starting pitcher: Sophomore RHP Ty Floyd (5-3, 3.12 ERA, 1.04 WHIP) starts for the Tigers. It's his 9th start and 15th appearance. 31 H, 19 ER, 17 R, 20 BB, 58 K in 49.0 IP — .180 opponent batting average.
