Landing a plug-and-play starter anywhere in the secondary via the transfer portal is certainly a possibility. Much like linebacker we are good, not great, pretty much across the board. McCullough and Flowers lack range but they don't bust and they get the defense lined up, which is obviously really valuable.

Charles was pushing for a job there before his knee injury.

Dee Williams will be hard to keep off the field whether at CB or N.

Rucker can really run and plays the game physically, can he find a home and put it all together?

Hadden and Turnage had moments this season where their ability flashed but nothing consistent enough to own a job, yet.

Same with Slaughter. He's solid but can he take that next step and be the man we need in the slot... If he's not, it could be a bit of a merry-go-round until we get that position figured out.

Alontae not playing in the bowl does give us a bit of a head start in finding who can play.
