Here was a 5***** who redshirted so he had a full year to develop, like teams prefer with O linemen. He loses his place and gets sent in for a few plays last week and right back on the pine. I am not knocking the kid but is it he is not strong enough, quick enough, can't learn what to do, has bad pad leverage, etc.
We put a monumental rush on him that final recruiting weekend and Butch never left him out of his sight. I know we were all elated when he flipped. Does he just need more time or does he look liken the step up from HS to the SEC is just not going to work? I had high hopes for him but right now he looks to be a non-contributor. Anyone have any insight?
