Shame on Ingles!!! Advertising a bonanza sale today in their flyers both in the paper, in-store when I got there --- and I would assume online. Despite my underlying health conditions, I braved the crowd to get necessary grocery items. At checkout they told me they decided to call it off, after I spent an hour driving there and loading my cart with 15 sales items.
Definitely no notice at the front entrance, at checkout or anywhere else I could see that their promised prices were no longer in effect. Obviously some customers have been going through thinking they were getting the advertised prices, without checking their receipts.
At the very least they could have posted large signs around the store about it, and taken off the removable insert from the in-store flyers. Ingles knew of shortages when they ran their ad. Classic bait and switch, while needlessly endangering the lives of their customers.
