It's the first year and I don't care how similar it is, it's still a different scheme and there is a learning curve. We have had injuries to key people which is making the defense worse, but we didn't play great defensively to start out the first couple of games either, and we had the guys then.
Don't think Shoop is going anywhere after this season, and will be back next year. Next year look for a much better defense in terms of players reacting better and playing more instinctively.
