in that time period their average recruiting ranking finish is 20th, average final poll ranking 9th and 4 top 5 finishes. They never finished higher than 9th in recruiting rankings. I realize Chip Kelly has a lot to do with their success but i was surprised to see he never really recruited that great. i mean how many other teams have finished top 5 four times in the last 8 seasons and never had a higher recruiting ranking than 9th?
