Mark it down - here are some "Stone Cold" locks for 2016.
1. Florida's highly thought of defense will be far less effective than last years causing the Gators to finish 3rd or lower in the SEC East.
2. Chad Morris' departure to SMU will greatly affect the Clemson offense and open up the door for FSU, Miami, Va Tech and UNC in the ACC. (yes he left in 2014 - but teams drop off 2 to 3 years after losing an offensive coordinator - see Randy Sanders and David Cutcliffe)
3. Bama's loss of Kirby Smart and several top notch defenders will prove too much to allow Bama to repeat...though they will still have a solid year.
4. Arkansas will be a surprise team from the SEC West.
5. Auburn will also be a surprise team from the SEC West.
6. LSU will disappoint again.
7. Michigan will use its weak schedule to climb the ladder of power teams nationally.
8. The Houston vs Oklahoma winner will make the college football playoff.
9. Washington State and Washington will both make strong pushes up the polls.
10. Virginia Tech will give Tennessee much more than most expect at the BaB.
