Alright guys looking for a cool summer vacation (probably last week if June) 1 week time frame. Continental USA. Me the wife and 2 kids (12 and 14). We like the beach, lakes, mountains (pretty much anything outdoors) Not really looking to go spend a week in a big city.
Basically looking to go somewhere we haven't been and have a killer time. We don't have to stay at a 5 star hotel but it needs to be clean. We love eating out but not the white tablecloth type. Getting to play a round of championship caliber golf or catch fish would be a plus. I have no problem driving to the destination but would like to keep it under 12 hours or so if driving. Totally willing to fly though. We like to explore on vacation. Not really the go to a resort and stay on property for a week.
Budget 8 to 15K.
