In 2012 at this stage we were giving up just over 40 points per game to SEC teams. While we are again giving up lots of big plays like then, we are now only giving up about 35-36 points against SEC teams. Dooley ascribed the busts as: (1) failure to get right play in; (2) too much scrambling to get in right position; and (3) execution error. Said there were about 15 bad plays a game.
