It's amazing to see the arms race in major college sports, Auburn just released a video of their new upcoming facility. FSU and UF have really nice football facilities being built. Hell, look at Kentucky's weight room and football facility, its every bit as nice as UT's.
But how much more can UT do besides renovate what's already there? This includes things like the Baseball stadium as well. Tennessee's campus due to its topography and location being right next to downtown doesn't have a lot of room for expansion and you couple this with an already terrible parking situation, its a not a good fit.
Texas A&M would be on the other end of the spectrum, if you have been to that campus, you know what I'm saying. They have tons of room and money, campus is nice and flat, they have a much better situation to expand and improve facilities when they so choose.
I just wonder how much more UT can actually do due to the restrictions it already deals with? While all these other schools seem to be passing us up building these modern masterpieces.
