“Should be in”
Tennessee (16-6, 7-3; NET: 12, SOS: 5): The only thing holding Tennessee back from lock status is its work in Quadrant 1. The Arizona win is great, and a home win over LSU still looks very nice. But beating North Carolina by 17 on a neutral court? Congratulations. Everyone decent blows out North Carolina. You don’t get a gold star for it. Still, UT’s fundamental solidity is its greatest strength, on the floor and off. The Volunteers play great defense and just-OK offense, which is enough to beat very good teams some of the time and enough to beat just-OK teams basically all of the time. A couple more wins and we’ll make it official.
seems about right. (Another) Huge game tomorrow.
