Yesterday I said the biggest "key" is Dobbs. For today, the biggest question mark ... is the offensive coaching staff. Sure, the OL is not as talented as we'd like and therefore in the discussion but they are not the best answer to the question. And I think the talent is there at LB to be successful there especially only playing 2 most of the time.
The Butch/Jake tandem left a lot to be desired in 2014, as has been discussed at length. The creativity was not there & in my opinion they didn't even attempt to design a variant of their beloved system specific to Worley's limitations and their undermanned OL. The replacement for Jake hasn't called plays since I was in middle school. The talent at the skill positions will be spectacular, the OL has enough legit SEC bodies to compete and I expect this offense to produce against SEC defenses. We have some unique strengths and weaknesses and I expect our gameplans and playcalling to recognize them.
Butch's coach speak isn't going to distract the spotlight from where it belongs, and that's on himself. I'm looking forward to a great year and finding out if we have a great coach.
