i've read about all the criticism directed at CBJ for trying to score a TD instead of kicking the field goal, down two scores and under two minutes to play.

Has anyone considered the order of probability of accomplishing a field goal, recovering an on side kick, scoring a TD and converting 2 points?

The best chance of scoring a TD was on the final possession of the game, time and distance being a factor. Tennessee was closest to the end zone with 90 seconds remaining in regulation. If they score the TD first and execute an onside kick, there may have been just enough time to get into field goal range .

I don't have a problem with the decision. The outcome is a different story.
