Especially the noise level in the first half. I'm mid 30s in good shape and I yell monotone roars as loud as I can on every defensive possession until the snap and there were times I had to sit down to do it or not do it at all.
I probably had 10+ drinks Friday night til 3am and another 10+ between 11am and kickoff and 6 in the stadium and I couldn't get drunk. The sun was just soaking it all up.
I saw multiple people passed out on stretchers.
That sun was just directly over more than half the stadium for the first half. Still hot going into the third.
As a matter of fact the instant the shade covered most of the field is when we started our run.
That first half would have been noticeably louder if it weren't so miserable.
I think that the sun being on Florida's sideline had a direct impact on their performance and players cramping more so than our conditioning being better.
Thoughts?
