Ok based on the many recommendations on here I’m on season 5 of the wire watching it for the first time. Most on here called it the goat show. Unless something happens in season 5 I just don’t see it. It’s a good show but I wouldn’t even say it’s great. Season 3-4 were good but 2 sucked and 1 was just ok. To me this show is not even in the same ballpark as the sopranos, breaking bad, and game of thrones. I liked Oz better than this too. I feel like I’m missing something here.
