I'm assuming Saturday and Sunday the coaches came up with our game plan for App. State. The players were than given the game plan Monday and we probably had walk through Tuesday and Wednesday...
Well when the offense see's the game plan, and the playbook is pretty much cut in half with an obvious emphasis on having Dobbs, our best weapon not run, I believe this was essentially the coaches telling them we should easily take care of business. I think this was one of the reasons we saw complacency, and a lack of urgency from our offense. The coaching staff said we can beat this team by keeping it very basic.
Now I don't blame the coaches for the vanilla game plan and not showing anything, but I think this had a negative impact on the teams performance and why we played very poorly.
