DT Omari Thomas & APB Jabari Small are visiting June 8th. Since they're rumored to be a possible package deal per Woody, VQ needs to be on commit watch for Weekend of June 8th or Monday 10th.
On rumored package deal with teammate
Omari Thomas
"We have a lot of the same offers and we talk about it every now and then but it’s not something set it stone. We would like to do it but we are going to end up at the college that’s best for us, even if that's not together."
We need the majority of the IN-STATE group in the WR:
Tennessee has plenty of remaining top targets at both defensive line and receiver. At the Nashville Opening Regional last Sunday, Tyler Baron, Reggie Grimes and Octavius Oxendine all starred (with the later two already earning invites to the Finals) and spoke highly of Tennessee. The Vols are also among the current contenders for Trevonn Rybka, Jay Hardy, Jacolbe Cowan and Omari Thomas. Tennessee has yet to offer Derrell Bailey, a standout at Greenback who is cousin’s with former Alabama linebacker Mack Wilson, but after LSU, UF and Virginia Tech all extended scholarships this week, one might imagine Tennessee gets into the mix, too.
Among the in-state targets, the Vols continue to position themselves well with 4-star safety Keshawn Lawrence. The Ensworth prospect was among the top performers in Nashville, posting an impressive SPARQ score and earning an invite to the Opening Finals. New DC Derrick Ansley has quickly formed a strong relationship with Lawrence.
Note: Good information copied from WR and article on Jabari Small. VOLS cannot miss on the majority of these guys.
How do you like our chances with these IN-STATE prospects?
@Brent_Hubbs @Jesse_Simonton @Austin_Price
Thank you...
GO VOLS!!
