The only difference tonight is that we didn't put together a miraculous play. Butch has to honestly assess his program. Too much inconsistency. Too many head-scratching calls. Too many instances of poor clock mgmt. Too many conservative calls that backfire. So rarely ever admitting mistakes, almost always blaming "execution" (i.e. "players' fault not mine"). So rarely doing things anyone would say are creative or impressive schemes. Such poor player development and lack of effective utilization and deployment of overall talent. In spite of obvious success with certain plays - e.g. havIng Hurd and Kamara on the field at the same time, using them to probe and expose matchup problems, or rolling Dobbs out - Debord so often calls plays that work against our strengths (concerning) or even play into our weaknesses (inexcusable) - e.g. calling plays that make Dobbs a pocket passer when our pass pro is awful and Dobbs just isn't a dang pocket passer.

I have lost faith in Butch. I believe in these players, though. Guys like Barnett (team MVP hands down), Jennings (it's a crime he isn't thrown to 10+ times a game), Kelly (runnin like his head's on fire and his ass a- catchin), Berry (arguably most wasted offensive threat on this time), Byrd (let's keep wasting him on offense while the defense so desperately needs him. Why not just TRY??? We were struggling SO badly in the secondary. Cost us yet again, and this time we lost. All the people saying they trust the coaches on how to utilize our talent should really try to think on how many good quarters of UT football yoshould just consider the
