They flocked to the thread to defend UTAD's last place finish in the SEC in the fall Learfield Cup rankings. Quickly, they justified this terrible finish by pointing out how we only fielded sports in 5 of the 8 sports in consideration and that they "don't care" about any of the sports besides football. Their infinite wisdom failed realize that the other SEC schools listed also only field 5 out of 8 sports as well sans South Carolina who had men's soccer. In sum, it was a terrible fall and a last place finish in the SEC. We seriously have people that still defend this lack of performance:
