I don't usually get much insider information, but one of my good friends is dating someone who works in the athletics program at James Clemens HS. He is a big Alabama fan so he asked her about Ray and she said the following:
1) She talks to him regularly and he is a very nice kid with a good head on his shoulders.
2) Florida does not appear to be a factor. He is concerned about the distance from home.
3) It's an Alabama-Tennessee race, but she gets the feeling that UT is the current favorite.
This is nothing groundbreaking but I was glad to hear this, especially since it was relayed from a Bammer. She does expect to find out his decision ahead of media reports, so I will relay any additional information. Go Vols.
