I have been a member more than a few years and enjoy your work very much . But lately or since the OK game last years its become very clear It's time for VQ to stop playing and get serious about a few things.. Enough is enough - the fact is many readers have gotten so sick of the negetive posters that even thinking of looking at forums makes them cringe .. I am there and doubt after football I will open VQ forum until spring .. Why? Because it will be the same steady negetive drone posters who think they their payed subscription has given them full rights to play the devil fan and completely ruin this site for us all.. They are clueless in how many people disagree with their negetive post because many many have simply giving up trying to say " I disagree " because the long drone will not slow down long enough .. like a big drum bang spewing negetivity infecting the entire board..
Serious VQ how many of us would need to stop paying attention before there is a wake up to the fact that the few ain't the majority .. no matter what it feels like we are Orange state, Orange town and Vol Nation .. this is our town ! . We are NOT Yellow and not about to elect to fire our coach for doing it right on the field, in the class room and in life.. Any fool out there knows this was a freaky year in big orange and not normal for any college team in history .. Why it happened no-one knows but we all know some huge fluke happened and it can't and want be the norm.. Coach Jones and his guys have done a hell of a job fixen what some destroyed and did it with blood sweat and tears.. His guys worked their ass off for Vol Nation and that is no doubt ! Now to look this man in the eye who opened up his team and showed his passion to the local folks only to be rewarded with CNN Like trash post is well very disturbing to say the least -- So bad did it become he had to tell his kids ignore the media stories and social media for now. That alone should shame the hell out of us all and for most it does..
I am sure each writer that makes their living covering the Vols have had a lot easier time writing and covering the Vols than anytime during Dooley and Lane years. Am I wrong? Or do you actually have stories to write after the last SEC game vs one that really can't say NO BOWL AGAIN except one way? And safe to bet you've had better Holiday's than ever did during Kiffin and Dooley years but just my guess.. Like it or not CBJ and his team helped your team do your jobs better. .. So I ask how can you continue to allow the few to speak for us all and embarrassing the entire Orange state and most importantly our town?
Let's see the guys that pay their bills covering the Vols for once step up with more than a article of observation of the Vols and send a personal pinned letter of thank you from the entire city of Knoxville .. heck I don't know but something that says Coach you guys made a huge difference in our lives since you hit the ground in Ktown and the local sports funky bunch appreciates your hard fought efforts .. I believe it's well past time to be humans who care more for the persons and families than a W- don't you? .. The fact is the vast majority want to keep CBJ here . The man shows the same kind of passsion and love this town is known for and there is no amount of money that can create that not even 4 million.. I am sure their families could use some heart felt love from the home town folks.. I hope it's not to late .. Go Vols !
