1. Especially in the first half, their guys got away with murder with their hands. I counted at least 10 times they got away with murder slapping wrists. Vandy got a super favorable whistle. Seemed to even out in the second half. That kinda stuff happens in the SEC on the road.

2. Who is number 33 for Vandy? Never heard of him before the game, but he got away with borderline sexual assault most of the half and to my amusement the few vanderbilt fans seemed to cheer any time he was involved with anything. I yelled trash to him, but I will feel really bad if he's a make a wish kid. Please let me know if so - so I can donate to his life threatning illness.

3. I haven't seen it much on the board reading, but Chandler is still a kid and makes some dumb decisions sometimes, but I think some people here sometimes forget what a special talent he is. There were 3 or 4 moments tonight where he made legit next level NBA plays and we are starting to take it for granted. Credit to him for that.

4. Praise for Uros - can't say much more. The foul at the half was dumb, but he has a way of energizing a team, crowd, and arena that you can't teach. Love him.

5. Vescovi is our best player (currently - Chandler is most talented by far)

6. No idea if TV caught this - but I love what Rick did with Mashack one possession. He had a bad turnover. Rick yanked him. Didn't send him to the bench. Talked to him. And he sent him right back to the half court line to go back in. Again TV might have made a big deal about it, but that's the kind of thing I love in Rick and want to see more of. I'm good if you yank a kid for something really bad, but to coach him up as a freshman and then immediately when done talking send him to the scorers table to go immediately back in was cool.

7. Vanderbilt fans are old money trash.

8. We had a lot of things go against us. Road games are tough regardless of team. That was a win I will take and we learn and we go on. Got a lot of growing to do, but there is no excuse for this team to not be top 15 at end of year. We very well could get there. I think the GQ has good criticisms. Thankfully unlike football it's a long season and you want to be improving and playing your best ball later. We aren't there yet, but hopefully will get on the right track. I think a good performance Saturday win or loss will go a long way.
