I'm totally out of my element on this one so any help would be appreciated. We have an older home under contract and the home insurance company is quoting us a super high price based on the premise that the home has 60 amp electricity. I asked our realtor if that's the case and she replied it has 220 volt so it's up to code. This is all Greek to me so does 220v equal 200 amp? Can a home be on those old round fuses and be on 220v? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks everyone!!
