I was just thinking through this and after 9/11 many things changed. No more waiting at the gate watching your loved ones plane take off, no water bottles in airports, tighter security in airports and everywhere honestly, searching people at sporting events, etc. We finally acknowledged that a major terrorist attack can happen on our soil.
I wonder how the world changes after this pandemic? Companies will start focusing on mobility so employees can work from home if needed, shifting money from other disease research like aids to things like this so we can be proactive to stop it going forward, no more handshakes, etc. It will be interesting to see how it plays out and what changes are made.
