It's a new day with a new team. We need to approach the week knowing we are going to win. Here's why we will:
- Sure, Debord's calls on Saturday were infuriating, but we all know the playbook will be wide open this week.
- Florida has a great defense...but a subpar offense (even before losing Del Rio). They can't run the ball and who knows what throwing the ball will look like this week. The O Line is about as suspect as ours is. I think we only need to score 21 points to guarantee a win. I don't think Florida will score more than 17.
- Speaking of that Gator o-line, it's a matter of time before Barnett breaks-out and has a massive game. I feel like this can be that game. He always plays his best in big games, plus he's been one step from a sack a bunch this year. If nothing else, Appleby will be on the ground a LOT on Saturday, and that can only help.
- Cam Sutton injury, while it hurts us on the field, will be an inspiration off of it. I think that will motivate the whole team with a "don't take this for granted" message. Play like it's your last game.
Now, with that, let's approach the week with confidence and pride. I know many of us have loser Florida fan friends (myself included), and it would be easy to fold to the taunts. But I say STAND YOUR GROUND. And when that game ends with a Vol win, rub it in their face like you haven't done it in a decade!
