Lost his fight with Covid virus. 10 days in the hospital and just wasn’t strong enough to pull through. He was 83.
Really thought about not posting this but just thought he would be proud to be seen as a VFL.
Two quick memories.
In the early days when we weren’t on TV all the time my dad and I listened on the radio. Saturday tradition.
lucky to see the Vols on TV maybe twice a year. We would listen to Ward until halftime. Then to the backyard for me being the receiver and him the QB. Great times. Run routes and catch TD passes. Then back for the second half Radio.
As he grew older our family would go to games. Campus Inn before the game was a tradition. Yes, my dad had on white pants and orange shirt dancing to Rocky Top. I always laughed and we hugged a lot.
Will miss you so much.
