We've been in A LOT worse shape roster wise in the past vs 2021

Under Kiffin, we had what looked like a handicapped person returning at QB and had to start 2 walk-ons on the OL. VFF was trying to sell us on Nick Revez at MLB.

Other years we've had 1 returning d-lineman, no wide receivers.

Based on various roster's we've had the last 10-12 years, this roster isn't that bad is it?

Linebacker is then, but adding Mitchell can't be worse than that red-headed stepchild we had playing LB several years ago.

Our DL is plenty good enough for a mid-tier SEC team. We'd like a pass rusher, but our DT's are way better than some of the situations we've had in the past.

At RB, we have more than enough serviceable RB's. Remember when Tauren Poole was our workhorse and he ran like a 5.2 forty.

At WR, plenty of speed and people that can catch the ball.

at DB, TBD, but it's better than we've had in the past. Pruitt's first year the DB whisperer had to start 2 frosh's at corner.

TE is meh, but not a difference maker for most teams anyway.

QB is a big question, but I really do think we have a coach and an offense that's going to make things easier for the QB. Remember when Cut came back and Ainge was all of a sudden much better. Then Kiffin comes in and makes Crompton go from the worse QB in UT history to a 5th round pick by the Chargers.

I trust Coach Heup can coach QB's, you feel me. We've seen it in other similar offenses and other situations, like what Heup did at Mizzu. What Mike Leach has done with a myriad of QB's over the years. We will be more functional than we've been at QB in the last 10 years outside of 1 year with Dobbs.
