All these coaches saying that you can’t pay HS recruits because that’s not the spirit of NIL and the ruling will be greatly disappointed when a HS kid takes the NCAA to court and opens up the scope for allowing a prospective athlete to be paid.
So all this angst about the spirit of NIL is silly. That was just what the lawsuit against the NCAA focused on. Limit how much a private entity can pay a recruit and see how that lawsuit turns out.
