From Brent's article.
In the first two drives of five games, Dobbs has 11 yards rushing on three designed rushing attempts. Dobbs doesn't have a designed carry to start a game (first two drives) in the last three games.
In the first quarter of five games, counting sacks, Dobbs has -2 yards rushing. In the second quarter of these games, Dobbs has 134 yards on the ground and the Vols have 41 points. In the second half, his 135 yards have helped Tennessee score 114 points.
I've been critical of dobbs not keeping it on certain plays, but UF and UGA did a good job of playing the zone-read by keeping a DE or LB at the end of the line and basically spying on him.
how would you counter this?
