What age should you take a kid to their first game?

At what age do you think it would be fine taking a kid to their first game? And by that I mean that you are also able to watch and fully enjoy the game with your child?


I went to my first game when I was 11, enjoyed every one I’ve been too. But I now have a 1 year old (don’t plan on taking him anytime soon) and I was thinking today about how I can’t wait to get him to Neyland and a game.

Any thoughts or suggestions for taking young kids to games?? TIA.
