I think I answered my own question....our men's team was extremely young this season
Our team in the SEC tournament:
#1 seed: Sophomore
#2: Sophomore
#3: Freshman
#4: Freshman
#5: Junior
#6: Freshman
The entire roster breakdown:
SR's: 0
JR: 2
SO: 3
FR: 4
Also, Steven Karl (Sean's brother) is an EE and joined the team in January while Redshirting. He'll be in our lineup next year and should be really good. Not sure if there are any other newcomers that would make an instant impact other than him though
Regardless of the youth, however, there is no excuse for finishing in last place in the conference
