When Butch Jones first became coach wasn't there a "pit" for those who couldn't practice? I remember that "The Pit" was much harder than practice and therefore motivated injured players to return to practice sooner.
Did we go from this mindset to our players donning green no contact jerseys and deciding when they felt like practicing?
I hope I am misremembering this. Otherwise is there any question as to why we were so soft and undisciplined this year as opposed to the previous years?
