Why can't we just have a version of NSFW threads?

Piggy-backing off the threads about posts being deleted... Why can't we just implement a simple system where the OP of an off topic thread puts a tag in it so everyone knows it's a "no holds barred" thread meaning anything goes. (Within reason.. no death threats, porn, etc) So if you open one of those threads, you've already been warned what you're likely walking into. Thread doesn't have a tag on it and someone is acting a fool?.. to Chile you go.

Seems like a simple solution to the thread nuking. It draws a definitive line for the mods when it comes to deciding what's too far, allows a sounding board to those that want it, and will probably clean up the serious threads of all the pent up aggression and childish behavior. (Ok maybe not the last part)

Seems fair and logical to me at least for the off season. Am I missing something?
