I know I swung and missed on Mark Stoops and Kentucky, but who else has a feeling that in the long run South Carolina made a solid hire? At Florida, he had a solid defense and recruited well on that side of the ball while his offense struggled due in large to not having a quality quarterback. The consensus is he has a good young one in the freshman Brandon McIlwane and has a freshman WR who balled out last week against Vandy's stout defense. Butch has never beaten him, and we have to play in Columbia this year. Just like with us, there is talent in their state, but not enough to rely on. If he can win some games this year, I see him being very active in the state of North Carolina where there is a lot of talent.
