It's a tournament sport, so making sweet 16 is great. If they make the 8 does it change your answer? the 4? What if we had beaten KY in the SECT to win it but still lost to the nun?
Personally, I would take the 4.5 months of our season over Tex A-M even if they make elite 8. A final four year is a different thing.
Let's hope next year, we have a similar regular season, although won't be a surprise and thus, some of those SEC losses that are inevitable will seem more frustrating AND finish the season with further advancement in the big dance due to experience and maybe a new piece or two added.
