You don't quit on your team 2/3 through the season. Call it 'band of brothers' or whatever you want but you finish what you started then make your move if that is what you choose to do. He quit on this team and it wasn't yesterday or today when he did it.

I doubt theres been a bigger Jalen Hurd fan out there but he is wrong on this one.

He wanted to play RB in college. Other teams recruited him as a LB or TE but he wanted to play RB and Tennessee gave him that opportunity.

I hate to see him go but I'm glad this didn't drag out any further. Once you quit on your team - even if it's mentally quitting - then you're a negative. Best of luck to him in his future endeavors.

You don't quit on your family and you don't quit on your team. Period.
