Tennessee offers 2019 Athlete

The Vols are the second school to offer Class of 2019 Loganville (Ga.) Grayson athlete Owen Pappoe, a move I anticipated would happen once he visited over the weekend. For the next month or so, Pappoe is still technically an eighth grader, but already has offers from Tennessee and Boston College.

Pappoe has said that the Vols are his dream school and that he intended to commit if Tennessee offered and now that they have we will have to watch and see how things go.

As a rising freshman, Pappoe was one of the youngest prospects in attendance, but you wouldn't know it by looking at him. He's already 6-foot-1 and 190 pounds and looked mature beyond his years while working out at defensive back. Pappoe had no problem staying with players older and more polished and won more than his share of reps in one-on-ones. At a camp loaded with talent, Pappoe excelled and it surely won't be the first camp he has success at during his career.
