Joe Milton and the NFL.. Does he have one of the biggest opportunity’s in CFB next season?

We all know the NFL loves physical measurables and big arms in QBs. At 6’5 and 245lbs, his arm is already getting compared to the likes of Jamarcus Russell.

Seems like if he puts together a relatively good season next year (doesn’t have to be anywhere near as good as Hook was this year) he could easily shoot up the draft boards. He has to have one of the biggest opportunities in CFB next year with this offense and that arm??

I’m not saying he’s first round talent but the measurables, arm strength, etc have to be intriguing to NFL scouts. Especially if he can put it all together next season.

A time to reflect.

Think about what you though at the beginning of the season. Man, what a season we got to see. Tennessee broke all the all-time offensive records and I believe that if it wasn't for the South Carolina game, we would have a Heisman quarterback, and a team that could be ranked number one. I understand that is a big what if, but that's what college sports is all about. Then you have the top receiver in the country which was a complete turnaround from the previous year.
So, who gets the credit? the coaching staff did a great job of making the players play as a team, making the players work hard and believe in themselves.
We win big taken the Orange Bowl against the number one team in the ACC. Clemson has as much talent as any team. Our offense did not run well against the Clemson defense, but Milton picked them apart with his passing. Milton showed great improvement in his picking the target and not overthrowing the target. I think he will continue to improve and be dynamite next year.
I like our coach's comment "the best is yet to come". Congratulations to our football Vols.

Football STORY: Amid opt outs, three Vols stepped up in Orange Bowl win over Clemson

I wrote about the impact Ramel Keyton, Squirrel White and Aaron Beasley had on Friday night in Miami:

The Music City Bowl field is in shambles.

As always. Every single year the field is trash. Every year. And every single game the Titans play after a little bit of precipitation it’s hot trash. For years players, fans, and broadcasters have said this and yet there are some fans out there who say grass is better than the new artificial turf. Yeah maybe in other states like FL grass maybe better but in Nashville the people in charge of the field have never gotten it right. Not once.
