Just wrapped up some morning interviews with Theo Jackson and Ty Chandler.
First on Chandler, he's up to 195 pounds and wants to gain even more weight. Really impressed with him.
He likes Tennessee's coaching staff and told me that he talks to coach Gillespie more than any other coach.
He certainly knows about the likely opportunity to have early playing time, but also mentioned that he wouldn't be able to play with Kamara and Hurd and learn from them if they aren't there and if they leave early as planned.
Finally, he said he wants to visit Georgia this summer as he has yet to see them and he will take some more visits as well. He said he could possibly visit Tennessee again but if he doesn't make it he will visit for a few games in the fall.
It seems like he's still pretty open and doesn't seem close to doing anything.
Theo Jackson looks really good. Probably closer to 6-3 and has an incredibly long wingspan. Bob Shoop and Thigpen will be in to see him for his spring game on Friday.
As for his recruitment, he said he will be back at Tennessee this summer for a visit and he seems pretty high on the Vols.
