IF Donnie Tyndall can survive the NCAA storm, we will endure a mediocre year in 15-16, but we will be very excited about our basketball team for years after that. I don't think it's crazy to put some pressure on the 16-17 season, but I'm confident he will get us there.
He had a bit of a honeymoon the first half of this season. He had them playing way above their heads and his style was giving other coaches fits. As the season ground on, you could see the player getting tired and other coaches figured out how to play against his zone. But I've seen enough to think he will continue to adapt and will get the players he needs. This is a very good basketball coach. I'm not worried about Tyndall, I'm worried about the NCAA.
