The head coach is supposed to be the leader of the team. The players are supposed to follow his lead and trust him. Do you know what’s going to happen the second the head coach wants to start a certain QB but the players wants someone else to start? They’re going to demand to get their way or they’re going to gang up and enter the portal.
Same goes with players with bad attitudes. They’re going to divide the team, and you’re going to have half the team transferring out.
The players now have the power to have their coach fired if they don’t like how things are going.
This is a horrible thing for the game. It and NIL will destroy it.
If it isn’t broke, don’t fix it.
