I know Blackburn is a favorite on here. I have heard good things about him but have never dealt with him. If he were not an old TN guy then this board would be up in arms about hiring an AD from the Southern Conference. Take the TN connection out of it. Is the he one of the most qualified guys we could hire? Maybe he is.
As the chancellor I think at the least you go with an up and coming Asst. AD from a power Five League. If for no other reason than to cover your own ass. I am not sure Blackburn has a chance at this point. And should he really?
