Washington was offered the defensive coordinator position at Tennessee last year, but turned it down to stay at OSU as LB coach according to TOS. All four of Washington’s senior linebackers on the 2020 Ohio State team were in the NFL in August 2021: Borland (Minnesota), Browning (Denver), Justin Hilliard (San Francisco) and Werner (New Orleans). New defensive coordinator Jim Knowles will coach linebackers.
