I think it's the way he handles interviews and press conferences. Minus the QB battle which he didn't want to talk about, he's just been incredibly honest, down-to-earth and intelligent. I don't think we've had a coach in my lifetime who seemed to be as smart as Heupel. The whole thing just makes me feel like we are in good hands. I'm still a bit skeptical because of all the years we have been terrible, but I also have this sense--that I'm trying hard to hold back--that Heupel just won't fail here. He's the one. We have a long way to go, and Missouri played a terrible game, but our last 3 coaches wouldn't have been able to take advantage of it the way that Heupel did. Can't wait to see if we can make it two in a row next week.
