I've been posting online since the 90's, and I've never consistently lost my temper and been as rude as I have these last two weeks. I just find the irrationality of this board regarding the virus to be more frustrating than anything I've ever encountered online. No matter what happens, no matter how many people get sick and die, half this board will be dismissing it because some of the numbers are estimates based on current data and historical information (or inflating numbers, as the board likes to say). And that's only one of many things that we refuse to believe.
That's no excuse for being rude, though. So I'm going to take a little covid break until I've sorted myself out and can post in a civil manner again. I'm going to continue reading all the conspiracy theories the board can put out there, I'm just not going to allow myself to post on them for at least a week--not until I can read them without fuming and wanting to strangle kittens.
I'll still post on sports if I can think of something worth posting. Was thinking about making some highlight videos on our recruits from game footage I found online. Maybe I can work on that and take my mind off all this other crap for a day.
