George Cafego was an All American and top draft pick on the 1939 team and one of Neyland's best. It was the last major college team to go undefeated, untied and unscored upon. I believe he played for the Chicao Cardinals and was an assistant coach for several college teams. He ended his career as the special teams coach for his beloved Vols. His colorful pep talks to the team before the annual Vanderbilt games were legendary. Our NIL effort is "Bad News" to the rest of the SEC.
