Boys, it is what it is right now… Most of the preseason magazines had us finishing 6th in the east only ahead of Vanderbilt. We faced a team tonight that many have picked to win it all. We knew there would be bumps in the road. We fought hard into the 3rd quarter, but the far superior team come out on top as predicted.
We need this NCAA cloud gone. We have to give Heupel time to get his hand-picked high school QB here. I love what he’s done with Hooker though. That youngster fights his tail off.
Rest up and take the fight to Kentucky. Show some flash on offense against them, South Alabama, and Vanderbilt. One this NCAA mess is over, Heupel will build this team into one that will take the fight against the big boys for 4 quarters.
