Hey guys - I haven't had many questions lately, but as the season draws near - here are a few. Thanks in advance as always!
1. Last year we heard before his injury that Gaulden was a super stud. Honestly, he is one of the players I am most excited to see this year. Do you think he wins a starting job (nickel or safety)? What are the coaches thoughts on him and what should we expect with his skill set?
2. I have seen other sites say that this wide receiver group is vastly underrated and may be as talented as Hunter/Rogers/Patterson group. How good do you think Williams/Malone/Smith/Byrd and Jenkins can be? Is Jenkins really running 4th or 5th?
3. A couple of players that I haven't heard much about this camp are Jack Jones and Quay Piccou. Can you tell us what the coaches think of these young men and how they are coming along?
4. With what you guys have seen of Bob Shoop, do you think his defensive style will upgrade our unit from last year? How does he differ from Janzcek?
5. Last year our defense got blamed for blowing late leads, but I think a lot of that was conservative offensive play calling. Do you think we will see a different mindset this year?
6. Do you think that we will see more two back backfields with both Kamara and Hurd together?
7. Will we see more of Kamara on punt returns and kickoff returns this year?
8. Tell us a bit about J.Kelly? Do you think he is going to be a good back? How does he compare to our starting two?
