I stated earlier in the week about the fact the Butch saying it was a lower extremity injury more than likely meant an upper body because giving opponents a target for a star player. Butch has been known for not disclosing injuries and keeping it tight to the vest. If Hurd indeed is out or was really in jeopardy of not playing why would he put this out so A&M didn't game plan as if he was playing. Why wouldn't he just say on game day or at game time that he was out?
That being said, could this be a play towards A&M since nothing has been said about Garrett or just another play by Butch?
